Minotaur (18)
October 7, 2027 @ 20:00 – 22:15
Director Andrey Zvyagintsev. Russian with English subtitles. 2h 15m.
There is no way out of this labyrinth: the lair is so complex, so vast and deviously devised that even the big boss man around here can’t escape this unnamed town in provincial Russia. No one can escape it. Now the beast is demanding a fresh fill of innocents for the Ukrainian front line: how can he fulfil the order? This is veteran Russian film maker Andrey Zvyagintsev’s multi-award winning essay in bad faith, or portrait of contemporary Russia at war, nowhere near where you happen to live.
