Offer: Half-price tickets for Under 25s
DFS are pleased to announce an offer of half-price tickets for our showings for people aged under 25. This makes a guest membership just £3.50 per film – just ask on the door. Please be prepared to provide proof-of-age if requested.
We welcome members and guests of all ages, subject to the BBFC legal age restrictions that apply to each individual film.
Mulled wine, mince pies and Licorice Pizza
We’d love you to join us on Thursday 7 December for a complementary mince pie, washed down with a glass of mulled wine before you settle down to our December film – Licorice Pizza.
We are also launching a new promotional offer of half-price tickets for under 25s – that makes a guest membership for an evening just £3.50. Everyone is welcome (please note that BBFC legal age restrictions still apply). We will be continuing this promotion into next year.
2024 Programme Announced
Welcome to the new programme for 2024. We have selected a year of eclectic and award-winning films both in English and in other languages for you to enjoy this year.
Screenings are on the first Thursday of every month apart from January, when it will the second Thursday, at 8pm in Ditchling Village Hall with doors open at 7.30pm.
Quality wine is available to purchase prior to every screening. Membership is £50.00 for twelve months and covers all eleven films from when you join. Guests pay £7.00 at the door. Payment is by cash or card.
Members can get extra benefits on a 20% discount at The Bull pub on movie nights and can also access the society’s library of over 100 titles on DVD and Blu-ray.

Special Event. Welcome in a new season with the Ditchling Film Society.
Summer has come to a close and on Thursday September 7th we’re showing Aftersun. A truly wonderful film.
We also want to mark the start of a new season and we’re celebrating with complimentary cocktails. The White Horse and The Bull are both sponsoring us this evening.
Our choice of good wines will be for sale and cocktails will be available while stocks last.
